Here’s the official synopsis for “Lucky” which will air after our brief hiatus (March 15). *HIGHLIGHT TO REVEAL*
“Lucky” (Content Rating TBD) (HDTV)
CASSIE CONFRONTS HER FATHER, DIANA FINDS NEW LOVE AND FAYE TURNS UP THE HEAT WITH LEE — Cassie (Britt Robertson) catches Blackwell (guest star Joe Lando) sneaking around the abandoned house. After confiding in Adam (Thomas Dekker), he tells her he knows Blackwell was looking for a device to drain witches’ powers and clearly back to his old ways. Faye (Phoebe Tonkin) shows up at Lee’s (guest star Grey Damon) house to invite him to the school fundraiser, but is taken aback when Eva (guest star Alexia Fast) greets her at the door claiming to be Lee’s girlfriend. Meanwhile, Melissa (Jessica Parker Kennedy) encourages Diana (Shelley Hennig) to date a normal guy and points her in the direction of a new, handsome guy in town (guest star Tim Phillipps). Dawn (Natasha Henstridge) runs into Blackwell at the school but the reunion isn’t quite what she expected. Joshua Butler directed the episode written by Katie Wech (#116).
Did you enjoy last night’s episode? Unfortunately, the next one won’t be until March 15th. The title is “Lucky” and below is the extended promo. Leave your thoughts in the comment section.
“Eben hates witches,” said Zylka. “He’s hated Jake from day one because he was a witch, and I think that as fearless as Jake is, he was always scared of Eben. He never wanted anything to do with Eben — until, that is, now that Eben is after Cassie.”
That’s where Jake steps in, once again playing the Damon Salvatore to Cassie’s Elena Gilbert. (“Vampire Diaries” crossover alert, anyone?) He ends up facing his fears, standing up to Eben and offering himself in Cassie’s place. “She always accepted Jake for who he is,” said Zylka. “There’s something about Cassie that fascinates him.”
The witches from Chance Harbor previews tomorrow night’s episode of The Secret Circle titled “Return”. We’ll meet John Blackwell tomorrow! Thoughts?
